Summer workshop: Roblox Game Design

Workshop

Give your child an unforgettable summer in the world of programming.

In MindHub's half-day Roblox Game Design camp, children aged 8 to 11 years old will be introduced to Roblox Studio, one of the most popular educational platforms for teaching children how to code.

The camp is suitable for both beginners and children with previous programming experience, and it is structured into five engaging themed days.

The Roblox Game Design topics are as follows:

Day 1: Roblox Racing Game

On this day, kids will prepare for a Formula 1 race. They will use Roblox Studio tools to create racing cars and a track, and the Lua programming language to recreate a real Formula 1 race.

Day 2: Roblox Platformer Game

Children will create a game in which the player must go through three developed levels and collect as many points as possible. They will use Roblox Studio to construct the levels and the Lua programming language to program various obstacles.

Day 3: Roblox Battle Arena

Children will create an arena where various battles will take place. With the help of Roblox Studio, they will be able to create different types of arenas, and using Lua programming language, they will program different abilities of their character.

Day 4: Roblox Escape Rooms

Children will create an Escape Room game. With the help of Roblox Studio, they will create rooms and decorations, and with the help of Lua and AI, they will make the game even more interesting.

Day 5: Roblox Tower Defense Game

The objective of this game is for the player to destroy as many monsters as possible. Kids will use Roblox Studio tools to create their magical world and the Lua programming language to program their skills as well as those of the monsters.
